Conner Allen founded HAUTA Outdoors in 2019 with the mission to equip the next generation to get outside. Conner has been running fly fishing camps for 8 years.

South Texas Regional Director Evan Carlson is currently a student at Texas A&M. He has been fly fishing his whole life and will be leading HAUTA Houston for 2024.

The HAUTA 2024 Counselor team has worked hard to make this the best summer yet!

HAUTA camps were founded on the principle of giving elementary and junior high kids the inspiration, education, and experiences that it takes to get off of screens and begin their own outdoor adventures. Every camper will walk away with casting and knot training, adequate fishing knowledge, and actual experience from hours of guided time on the water.
